I ride my bike to and from work every day. Yesterday a car and I collided on Chapel Street (I'm not even going to begin about how ignorant some drivers are and how badly cyclists need to be properly recognized on Melbourne roads). Alot of people have been asking me what happened so I have drawn this diagram to help explain. PLEASE CLICK ON THE DIAGRAM FOR A BETTER VIEW. Despite being thrown over the top of a car and into the gutter, an ambulance ride and waiting way too long in emergency at the Alfred, I am ok. Lots of bruises and grazes (my elbow is FUCKED), but no broken bones and still got all my teeth. I'm on morphine to deal with the pain, so please forgive the dodgy diagram.
